The Department of Emergency Medicine at Rush Oak Park Hospital is seeking full-time, residency trained, Board Certified / Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians to join their team. With an annual volume of more than 47,000 patients, the Emergency Department is well-staffed with an average of 58 hours of physician coverage and 36 hours of mid-level provider coverage daily. The newly built emergency room was opened in October 2019 has 22 private rooms. Emergency Medicine (EM) physicians are employed by the hospital and receive a competitive benefits package, CME allowance and paid time off. A 1.0 cFTE physician works 1,683 clinical hours per year which includes one hour of overlap coverage to decrease the number of patie
