Memorial Intensivist Group at the Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, dedicated to night shifts, to join its team. The selected candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists to provide highly specialized care for patients requiring close observation and around-the-clock monitoring for a range of complex conditions. Responsibilities will include inpatient consults and follow up, medical ICU/neuro ICU coverage, and bedside procedures. The ideal candidate must have clinical experience working in a critical care setting. Candidates must have a national Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification, or Physician Assistant Certification. A BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross and Florida license must be obtained by date of hire.
Schedule requirements are three, 12-hour evening and night shifts per week with weekend coverage as needed. No call coverage is required. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
